LuLu CoCo Designs was founded in Spring 2008 by Laura Thomas Coutsolioutsos, a Florida-

based designer of fine handcrafted jewelry. A seasoned fashion industry veteran, Laura

worked in management for Christian Dior and Lancome, as well as in sales and marketing

roles for Paul Mitchell, Graham Webb and Aveda, prior to departing the industry to become

a wife and mother of two.

In her 8 years as a stay-at-home mom, Laura developed a passion for creating beautiful

jewelry, which drew her back into the fashion business that she left behind with the launch of

her own collection. The jewelry she developed has a classic, vintage-inspired look with a

fresh, modern twist.

A 1992 graduate of Radford University with a Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising,

Laura made her entry into the fashion world by working with some of the most recognizable

names in the industry. Her work has taken her all across the United States, calling Virginia,

New Jersey, New York, Maryland, California and Florida home throughout her career.

The jewelry that Laura creates for the LuLu CoCo line is inspired by her grandmother, Anne,

and her incomparable taste in home décor. Her homes were filled with elegant antique

furniture, beautiful knick-knacks, crystal chandeliers, hand-loomed rugs and lace canopy

beds that evoked a timeless, beautiful aesthetic. Whenever Laura visited, she was always

compelled to explore and would find an endless assortment of extraordinary objects that

created a lasting impression.

In developing her jewelry collection, Laura found that she, too, had a knack for collecting and

the intuition to see how one piece could lend inspiration to another. When designing her

jewelry, Laura envisions how one gemstone may look with a beautiful chain from her

collection, and the creative process takes hold, giving rise to an impassioned bracelet or

necklace. The entire line carries a classic look with delicate, feminine touches, but with an eye

for modern style.
